A Sign of Hope – Ecumenical Gathering

With the participation of representatives from all Catholic, Orthodox, and Evangelical Christian families, including clergy, consecrated men and women, directors of the youth offices and committees of the various Churches, as well as brothers from the Taizé Ecumenical Community in France, around 300 young men and women from Churches across Lebanon gathered for an ecumenical meeting entitled “A Sign of Hope” on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the auditorium of La Sagesse University, Furn El Chebbak.

The five-hour gathering created a space in which participants could experience hope during the Jubilee Year of Pilgrims of Hope by encountering the living person of Our Lord Jesus Christ at the heart of every young person through their experiences and personal testimonies.

The program included catechetical formation, the sharing of spiritual experiences, workshops, discussion groups, and a common ecumenical prayer service.
